Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Data Analytics or Data Platforms. In this role, you will lead initiatives enhancing data ingestion, data products, data quality processes, and integrations with major platforms such as Google Cloud and Hadoop.

You’ll act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable and impactful data solutions.

Requirements

• Lead requirements elicitation using interviews, workshops, process and workflow analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and priorities.
• Partner with Delivery Managers to provide project updates, estimates, and progress reports to senior leadership.
• Support projects with business analysis, testing, and project coordination tasks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams delivering solutions in an Agile environment.
• Analyse and document data requirements, transforming them into technical specifications for data engineers.
• Maintain clear and traceable documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards, incorporating definitions, lineage, and quality criteria.
• Produce high-quality artefacts: business requirements, data dictionaries, source-to-target mappings, process flows, and user guides.
