We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join a cross-functional team building a modern Data Platform and Portal for enterprise-scale data management and analytics.

Requirements

• Manage and prioritise the product backlog in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers and business users to align delivery with business goals.
• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies and impediments to ensure on-time value delivery.
• Elicit and document requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse data collected in GCP / BigQuery to identify patterns, trends and insights.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for business and technical data processes and requirements.
• Support testing and validation, ensuring requirements are clear, measurable and testable.
• Promote continuous improvement of product features and delivery processes.

Benefits

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Scrum Master (preferably covering multiple roles).
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, user story writing and acceptance criteria definition.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams - developers, testers, UX designers and business stakeholders.
• Practical experience using Jira for product backlog management and prioritisation.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum delivery environments with a focus on iteration planning and process refinement.
• Ability to model and design data flows and process diagrams.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques for validation and reporting.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect management.
• Knowledge of data modelling, pipelines and refinery environments.
• Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery and Confluence.
• Experience working in a large or matrix organisation.
• Understanding of data management principles, including data quality, lineage, protection and retention.
