Senior Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT Software Solutions

team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gathering requirements, analyzing

business processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative

technology solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Analysis:

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into

functional and technical requirements.

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and documentation sessions to capture detailed

requirements.

Process Mapping & Documentation:

• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.

Solution Design & Validation:

• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately

implemented.

• Validate solutions against business needs and perform gap analysis.Stakeholder Management:
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Perform data analysis to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.
• Create dashboards and reports for business performance tracking.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or

related field. Masters degree would be good to have.

• 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software solutions projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of various cloud service providers
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, and SQL for data analysis.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in implementing custom Cloud-based solutions
• Experience is working with customer is energy or telecom domain
• Knowledge of API integrations, data modeling, and BI tools.
• Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile methodologies is a plus.
