Lead Analyst

As part of the DNA team, this will be an individual contributor role where you will be responsible for leading various aspects of analytics execution and project ownership. You will lead custom initiatives around project development, client QBRs and strategy discussions, KPI improvement, and new project ideation. As Lead Analyst, you will also be required to ideate initiatives for business development and propagate MiQ culture and values within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Driving client stickiness: With your ability to analyze and interpret data, you will help our stakeholders make informed decisions. By providing accurate and actionable insights, you contribute to improving campaign performance and identifying new opportunities, thereby improving customer stickiness.
• Driving Profitability: By leveraging the power of data, you are expected to identify areas where we can optimize costs and improve the performance of campaigns while maintaining a competitive edge and profitability in our spends.
• MiQ Growth: Being on top of market trends and developments to suggest strategic measures that can help support MiQ's business and tap into new revenue streams to drive growth.
• Support Key Decision-Making: Your expertise in data analysis and reporting provides decision-makers with the necessary information to make informed choices. Your reports, dashboards, and presentations help guide agencies, advertisers, and internal stakeholders in making strategic and tactical decisions that align with MiQ's or the client's objectives.
• Analyst Best Practices: As a lead analyst, you are expected to introduce analytics and data best practices within the team, helping in setting up structures and quality frameworks within the team and with internal stakeholders.
• Developing Custom Analytics Solutions: Leveraging your experience in data science and advanced analytics, you will be expected to provide recommendations and assist in the development of MiQ products and assist in enhancing their consumption within the target market.
• Programmatic Traders: As an analyst, you collaborate with traders to optimize campaigns. By leveraging your data analysis skills and understanding of the data landscape, you provide insights on audience targeting, ad performance, and bidding strategies. This helps traders make data-driven decisions, optimize their advertising campaigns, and improve overall campaign effectiveness and ROI.
• Account Managers: You work closely with account managers to leverage the power of data partnerships. Through your analysis, you help uncover valuable insights about customer behavior, market trends, and campaign performance. This information allows account managers to create a compelling narrative, enhance engagement with advertisers, and showcase the effectiveness of MiQ's advertising solutions.
• Sales Representatives: You will also be helping the sales team by creating insights based on the key market trends and events. Your analysis helps identify potential opportunities and develop a gripping sales narrative. Additionally, you assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) by providing data-driven insights and recommendations that help us increase revenue streams.
• Agencies and Clients: Your expertise in data analytics and data sciences is invaluable for agency and advertiser clients. By providing detailed analysis reports and solutions, you empower them to make informed decisions regarding their marketing strategies. Your insights will help clients optimize their advertising budgets, target the right audience, and maximize the effectiveness of their campaigns. Additionally, you promote MiQ's internal solutions and capabilities, showcasing MiQ's unique value proposition in the programmatic landscape.
• In summary, as a lead analyst, you add value by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to traders, account managers, sales teams, and agency/advertiser clients that empower MiQ and its stakeholders to reach the right audience with the right content at the right time. You are someone who can turn data into actionable decisions while guiding a team and influencing stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent quantitative field (such as statistics, mathematics, or economics).
• 3-5 years' experience in the analytics domain.
• Proficient in advanced Python/R, SQL/Hive/Presto, advanced Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Big Data processing tools like Qubole/Databricks/Spark.
• Proven experience in data and business analysis > Exposure to descriptive and inquisitive analysis.
• Successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, discrete datasets.
• Strong visualisation and storytelling skills.
• Programmatic media / ad-tech domain knowledge.
• Experience in API integrations.
• Experience automating manual and redundant tasks.
• Knowledge of Tableau/PowerBI/Google Data Studio.
• Knowledge of basic ML techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with global stakeholders.
• Established experience working with clients. Highly self-driven and motivated individual.
