About the Role

We're looking for an organized, motivated, and passionate Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You'll work in an open, collaborative, and high-trust environment where you'll contribute to building scalable SaaS products while continuously developing your technical expertise alongside experienced teammates.
Our platform is built with a Vue.js frontend and a Java/Spring backend running on a microservices architecture using AWS, RDS, and Heroku. We continuously build new capabilities that help app marketers succeed while solving complex engineering challenges at scale.
What You'll Do
- Build new features across our microservices architecture.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Participate in code reviews and write automated tests.
- Improve the applications and services you work on.
- Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Troubleshoot bugs, analyze production issues, and help improve system reliability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Leverage AI tools where appropriate to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving, while applying sound engineering judgment and maintaining ownership of your work.
What You'll Bring
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with server-side technologies such as Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity when appropriate, while demonstrating strong engineering judgment, critical thinking, and ownership of the final solution.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS applications and product development.
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS) and Heroku.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
