About the Role

We are hiring a pre-sales Senior Principal Solutions Consultant to help our rapidly growing European sales team, reporting to the Vice President Global Solutions. This is a unique opportunity for a Solution Consultant that loves a fast-paced environment, solving business challenges and helping us drive growth. The Solutions Consultant is responsible for helping to drive sales cycles with prospects and partner organizations for Model N’s Life Sciences Suite. Key activities include driving discovery sessions to analyze prospect business model and value drivers, positioning and demonstrating the value of Model N solutions, building relationships with prospects, and being a product specialist, advocating for our Life Sciences solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate and work with Sales Executives to engage, design and sell Model N Solutions in the Life Sciences industry

• Lead comprehensive prospect business surveys and discovery sessions to uncover pain/opportunities and the value of improving their current practices

• Develop Business Cases and ROI / Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) documentation

• Configure, presentand demonstratetailored demonstrations to customers and partners based upon customer requirements and data

• Present and lead marketing and vision presentations at events, conferences and a be an advocate for Model N

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product & Professional services organizations

• Become an expert in Model N solutions and value propositions

What Success Looks Like

• In your first 90 days, you will:

• Work toward proficiency in Model N Global Solutions (discovery, pitch, value and demo) for core EMEA solutions

• Master the Model N Way of selling, sales process and opportunity management

• Participate in sales & marketing activities to drive demand and move opportunities forward

• Develop expertise in salesforce.com and AgentForce administration.

Over your first 6-12 months, you will:

• Master core Model N Global solutions for core EMEA and partner solutions

• Lead pre-sales opportunities with sales and business development

• Provide thought leadership for International Pharma pricing and commercial processes at industry conferencesand Model N events.

• Collaborate with Product Management to get provide input to product and market direction.

Qualifications

Required

• Solid experience in a pre-sales/solution consulting or equivalent professional service experience selling enterprise solutions (ERP, CRM, SCM, etc)

• Experience with selling enterprise solutions into Pharma & MedTech Manufacturers, specifically around pharma global pricing, tender management, quoting, pricing and contracting

• Salesforce.com experience highly desired including configuration, familiarity with APEX, integration, AgentForce, and utilizing partner solutions

• AI first mentality able to design and apply AI based solutions

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-Level executives

• Experience in the Sales full life cycle and demonstrated success in selling solutions to clients

• High energy individual with positive attitude who can work as part of a cross-functional team

• Demonstrated track record of goal achievement

• Willingness to travel as required

• Fluent in English and at least one of the following: French, German, or Spanish

Preferred

• MBA or relevant advanced degree.
