Quality Control Lab Tech - Work-Based Learning
This role is part of Mohawk Industries Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP) and is only available for qualifying high school students currently enrolled in a High School WBL program. The WBLP with Mohawk is designed to allow students the ability to learn, develop and build onto their industry related skills, while completing a High School curriculum.
Your role:
- Plans re-inspection line activities to meet business goals
- Inspect and disposition non-conforming material daily; properly status off-quality material so it is process in the most effective way
- Assist with quality testing and equipment calibration
- Manage and lead other employees, including providing coaching and training when needed
- Maintain records, reports and other documentation
- Remain safety-focused
Qualifications:
- Current High School Junior or Senior, at least 17 years old
- Good reading comprehension skills
- Expected to follow all safety regulations associated with the position·
- Be available to work 29 Hours per week/max
