Onsite - Torrance, CAOur Commercial OE Group is looking for a Senior Site Program Manager to manage and coordinate complex production, operations, and program activities supporting Commercial OE products manufactured at our Torrance, CA site. You will report to the Program Director. We’re seeking a motivated leader to collaborate internally with our program, planning, operations, supply chain, engineering, and site leadership teams to meet or exceed program expectations.
To be considered for the Senior Site Program Manager, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline
Minimum five (5) years of Program Management or similar experience is required, preferably in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or engineering environments
Proven leadership experience, excellent listening skills, and the ability to influence across functional organizations
Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of customer orientation
Requires access to U.S. Export Controlled information
Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management
Experience managing multiple programs in a manufacturing or production environment
Experience working closely with operations, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, quality, and engineering organizations
Experience managing program schedules, cost, risk, and execution performance
Ability to present program information to customers, site leadership, and other stakeholder groups; ability to navigate high-pressure situations
Experience supporting production readiness, manufacturing execution, and clear-to-build processes is highly desired
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, aviation, or other complex industrial environments is preferred
Experience working with OEM aircraft programs is desired
As a Senior Site Program Manager, you will:
Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities supporting Commercial OE products manufactured at the Torrance site.
Achieve program objectives through the effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope, schedule, cost, and production commitments.
Serve as the primary Commercial OE program representative at the Torrance site, partnering closely with planning, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering teams to support successful program execution.
Drive production readiness and clear-to-build activities by ensuring material availability, labor readiness, test stand capacity, and manufacturing resources are aligned to customer delivery requirements.
Provide oversight and coordination across approximately 50 product models manufactured through the Torrance operation, working closely with site planners and functional teams to proactively identify and resolve execution risks.
Support process improvements and standard work implementation across Program Management and site execution activities.
Sustain and expand the organization's book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
Ensure proper coordination between all program elements by developing program plans with detailed schedules and ensuring compliance through monitoring of cost, schedule, production readiness, and task completion.
Drive timely resolution of production constraints, material shortages, schedule risks, and execution issues through effective day-to-day communication with customers, Moog management, and Moog functional organizations.
Partner closely with site leadership to improve manufacturing responsiveness, production planning effectiveness, and overall operational performance supporting Commercial OE commitments.
Provide clear communication, visibility, and escalation of program risks, past due activities, and production challenges impacting customer delivery performance.
Optimize program success through collaboration with Program Managers, Planning, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders across the organization.
