This role is primarily focused on data work, alongside light service deployment, operations, and troubleshooting support as our systems grow.

We’re looking for a minimum of a 3-month commitment.

Responsibilities

Support data gathering and processing work for the product
Assist with service deployment, operations, and maintenance
Support troubleshooting and analysis as needed
Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure and databases

Requirements

Business-level English or Japanese
Competency with Shell commands
Competency with database SQL
Familiarity with Python
Experience with AWS (or strong familiarity with a comparable cloud platform)
You must already hold work authorization valid in Japan (Japanese citizenship, permanent residency, a spouse/dependent visa with work
rights, or a student visa with 資格外活動許可 permitting part-time work). We’re not able to sponsor a new visa for this internship, though there may be a path to a full-time role - and full sponsorship - later.

Nice to haves

While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.

Business-level Chinese (for cross-team coordination)
Familiarity with basic Kubernetes (K8s) operations in a cloud-native environment
Familiarity with common middleware and data flow in enterprise cloud environments
