Full-Stack Software Engineer

Our client is a global leader in fueling and convenience retail solutions, offering advanced fuel-dispensing equipment, clean energy technologies, payment systems, automatic tank gauging, and wet stock management. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the organization operates technology development and manufacturing facilities across the globe, including locations in Brazil, China, India, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Wayne Payment Team and be responsible for developing innovative payment solutions and 3rd party integrations. The position is part of a global Scrum team, collaborating across multiple countries to build and enhance payment products implemented worldwide. Responsibilities include designing new functions, participating in sprint ceremonies, triaging field issues with support teams, performing code/design reviews, and delivering high-quality software under tight schedules. Responsibilities:

• Analyze project/product requirements to design and develop new functions for Wayne payment products and 3rd party integrations,
• Interact with global Scrum teams across countries for sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming,
• Develop individual sprint assignments with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong willingness to learn new technologies/projects independently,
• Collaborate with payment team members and support teams (Dover NPS/Help Desk) to triage field issues, perform design/code reviews, and ensure high-quality delivery under tight schedules while maintaining superior quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience within Windows environments
• Familiar with front end technologies such as Angular / HTML5 / React
• Experience working with one virtualization technology (Docker / Kubernetes / VMWare)
• C# and .NET Core coding experience
• Strong OOPS, SOLID design principles and multi-threading programming skills
• Experience in REST and RESTful web API
• Team player and self-starter with minimal supervision both onsite and remote work set up
• Ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing

Desired Qualifications:

• Payment software/Point of Sale/EPS development experience is a plus
• Experience/understanding of EMV, P2PE, PCI PA-DSS or payment systems in general
• Real-time embedded development experience, preferably in Windows CE 6.0/ IoT environment/ Windows 10
• TCP/IP socket, serial communication, USB, video/audio development experience
• Experience working with .NET Compact Framework 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008 IDE with C#, VB coding
• Comfortable working with hardware simulators
• Tools for software development like JIRA, Bitbucket, Visual Studio Team Explorer, Source Tree is a plus
• SignalR and RabbitMQ experience is a plus
