About Mous

We are Mous. (Pronounced mouse, not moose.) People deserve tech and lifestyle products that are fit for purpose, perform as promised, and empower them to be their best. That’s why we’re building the go-to brand for products that genuinely deliver.

For over 10 years, we’ve pushed product performance to its limits, designing from first principles, validating through real-world testing, and investing millions in R&D. In parallel, we’ve built world-class in-house marketing capabilities, creating highly engaging, performance-led content that proves what our products can do and resonates with a passionate, fast-growing community around the brand.

From throwing phones off dams to launching category-defining products, our ambition is simple: raise the standard of the industry and build one of the most effective consumer brands in the world.

About the Role

We're looking for a Brand Content Creator to join our UK content team. This role is for someone who loves taking an idea from concept to finished content, whether you've been doing it for a while or you're earlier on and ready to show what you can do, and who wants to do it at a brand that takes both performance and craft seriously.

You'll get the chance to work across the whole process, from developing ideas and writing scripts to getting involved on shoots and in front of the camera, alongside our content strategy team and our editors. The content you make will run across paid and organic on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and will play a big part in how people see Mous as we push our content to feel more premium and more credible.

About You

Maybe you've been making content for a brand, agency or production company. Maybe you've been building your own audience and you're ready for a bigger stage. Either way, you come with ideas rather than waiting for a brief, you care about what makes content land with real people, and you understand that the best content does two jobs at once: it performs, and it makes people think better of the brand.

You'll have the autonomy to test your ideas, the resources to execute them, and a team that will help you grow into the work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Come up with original content ideas for paid and organic channels

  • Write scripts and plan your shoots

  • Shoot your own content, from setting up the camera to capturing it

  • Appear on camera and talk directly to our audience

  • Edit your content through to a finished, ready-to-publish standard

  • Help raise the bar on how premium and credible our content feels

  • Test, learn and iterate based on performance

How will success be measured?

  • Content you originate performs on paid and organic

  • A visible lift in the quality and credibility of our brand content

  • Consistent delivery of strong, on-brand work, taking on more ownership over time

  • Ideas that add something new to how Mous tells its story

Skills Requirements:

Hard skills:

  • A portfolio of content you've made, whether for a brand, a client or your own channels

  • Plenty of ideas, and the ability to turn them into a script or a clear plan

  • Confident shooting your own content, with a good eye for composition

  • Confident video editor (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar)

  • Comfortable in front of the camera, or keen to be

  • A clear understanding of short-form formats and what makes content perform

Soft Skills:

  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

  • Creative eye and strong attention to detail.

  • Collaborative mindset and great communicator.

  • Autonomous worker able to prioritise effectively.

  • Takes ownership of outcomes and learns quickly from testing.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience creating content for a brand, agency or production company

  • Experience on larger branded shoots

  • Motion design or After Effects

  • Photography

  • Other Adobe Suite knowledge (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom)

Our Offer

We operate a hybrid working model, typically spending at least three days a week in our Hoxton office to maintain our collaborative and high-energy culture.

Benefits include:

  • Significant opportunity for growth, ownership, and career progression

  • Competitive salary reflective of experience and impact

  • 30% Friends & Family discount on all Mous products

  • 25 days’ holiday + 8 bank holidays

  • 1 month paid leave after 5 years’ service

  • Cycle to Work Scheme

  • Employee Assistance Programme

  • Charlie HR perks and discounts

  • Regular socials, events, and on-site activities (including an on-site gym)
