Role Summary
The Product Owner - Agentic AI will own the product vision, roadmap, backlog and measurable business outcomes for enterprise Agentic AI capabilities. The role will translate business, identity, security and control requirements into prioritized features for secure and scalable AI agent adoption, working closely with AI engineering, IAM, cybersecurity, architecture, governance, risk and platform teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the Agentic AI product vision, roadmap, MVP scope, priorities, success measures and business outcomes.
- Own epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, Definition of Done and backlog prioritization in Jira; support PI and sprint planning.
- Drive requirements for autonomous and On-Behalf-Of agent patterns, multi-agent interactions, orchestration and the full agent lifecycle.
- Define lifecycle requirements covering discovery, registration, onboarding, activation, monitoring, dormancy, disablement, retirement and deletion.
- Partner with IAM and cybersecurity teams on workload and agent identities, authentication, authorization, Zero Trust, Microsoft Entra ID and policy-based access controls.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams across APIs, integrations, identity flows, telemetry and enterprise platforms.
- Coordinate dependencies across AI Engineering, IAM, Cybersecurity, AI Governance, Risk, Architecture and platform teams.
- Communicate business value, decisions, milestones, risks and dependencies clearly to senior leadership.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of overall experience with strong experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner for complex enterprise technology products.
- Practical understanding of Agentic AI, including AI agents, autonomous and On-Behalf-Of patterns, orchestration, multi-agent interactions and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of IAM and identity security, including workload identities, authentication, authorization, least privilege, Zero Trust, Microsoft Entra ID and policy-based access.
- Strong Agile/Scrum and Jira experience, including roadmap management, epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, PI planning and sprint planning.
- Technical fluency across APIs, integrations, telemetry, identity flows, enterprise platforms and distributed systems.
- Proven cross-functional leadership and concise executive communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise Generative AI or Agentic AI initiatives and AI agent orchestration platforms.
- AI governance or responsible AI initiatives.
- Microsoft Entra ID, enterprise IAM, Zero Trust and policy-based authorization.
- Cybersecurity or regulated-industry technology environments.
- Taking emerging technology products from MVP through enterprise adoption.
