Requirements

• Adherence to and promotion of company safety and quality policies
• Work pack Generation - critical foundation of MSL’s snag free & on schedule module execution program
• Monitoring of Fabrication and Procurement status and expediting as required to support the module population schedule
• Supporting Supervisors as required, and providing any necessary technical back up, to resolve engineering queries in the field
• Onsite co-ordination of MSL Subcontractors and client appointed Contractor activities eg. Insulation & cladding, structural steel, electrical containment, heat tracing, pressure testing
• Weekly Progress Reporting
• Work pack walkdowns to inspect quality of install, adherence to specs, slopes etc
• Represent MSL at official client walkdowns
• Monitor MSL Scope of Work, and identification of any potential out-of-scope work.
• Notification and tracking of same with Project QS
• Attend weekly progress meetings as required
• Safety audits and monitoring safety performance on site

Skills Needed

• knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential
• Minimum 2 years in Mechanical Engineering role with strong on-site construction experience
• Relevant engineering degree or trade qualification
• Hold excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and products
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
