Nasdaq is an American company founded in 1971 that opened the first electronic stock market and has since turned itself into a financial technology business where exchange operation is only one part. Alongside the United States and Nordic exchanges it runs a listings franchise, sells market data and indexes, licenses trading and clearing technology to other market operators, and has built a large regulatory technology business covering financial crime surveillance, anti-money-laundering and board governance software. Headquartered in New York and listed on its own exchange, it now earns the majority of revenue from recurring solutions rather than from trading volumes.

In this role, you'll join the Equity Analysis team at Nasdaq Dorsey Wright as a senior contributor responsible for delivering investment research, building client relationships, supporting strategic initiatives, and driving key projects from inception through execution. You'll serve as a trusted resource for both internal stakeholders and external clients, helping translate complex market insights into actionable investment solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with financial advisors, asset managers, and institutional partners while collaborating across research, sales, marketing, and product teams to advance the firm's strategic objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct and communicate investment research, market analysis, and portfolio insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and present research reports, quantitative analyses, thought leadership content, and client-facing presentations.
  • Build and manage relationships with financial advisors, asset managers, and strategic partners, serving as a key point of contact for research-related inquiries.
  • Lead and execute projects that support business growth, client engagement, product development, and operational initiatives.
  • Support and participate in client events, conferences, webinars, and educational programs, including preparation of content, presentations, and follow-up activities.
  • Gather market intelligence through ongoing engagement with industry contacts and incorporate findings into research and strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor developments across financial markets, investment strategies, and industry trends and communicate insights to clients and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Take ownership of key client relationships and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and high-quality outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio analysis, wealth management, asset management, financial services, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and quantitative analysis.
  • Experience working directly with clients and developing professional relationships with advisors, consultants, or institutional investors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership and accountability for results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA charterholder or progress toward the CFA designation.
  • Experience with investment research platforms, portfolio analytics, or financial market data systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization and presentation tools.
  • Experience presenting to clients, leading webinars, or speaking at industry events.
  • Knowledge of wealth management, managed accounts, ETFs, model portfolios, or advisor-focused investment solutions.

Key Traits for Success

  • Relationship-oriented with a client-first mindset.
  • Proactive and self-directed with strong project management capabilities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for markets and investing.
  • Comfortable representing the firm in client-facing and industry-facing environments.
  • Collaborative team player with strong professional presence and communication skills.
