Project Manager
to join our Investment Project Management team located in Porvoo.
As a Project Manager you will be leading and managing the project team, scope, resources, time, cost and change management. Strong networking and communication skills are necessary to ensure efficient communication and information sharing between internal and external project stakeholders.

Your role in our team
Project Manager is accountable for overall delivery of assigned projects including following:
- Manage the projects according to Neste operating model safely in compliance with agreed project scope, schedule, cost and quality.
- Ensuring resourcing and leading the projects engineering, procurement and construction team.
- Track project's scope, schedule and costs, and lead change management process.
- Maintain a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the stakeholders
- Driving for project management best practices and efficient communication in order to create seamless and goal oriented teamwork in projects and organization.
- Ensure that project execution shall fulfill requirements of law and authorities.
- Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements.
- Reporting projects' status according to agreed principles.
The best combination to succeed in this role
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in industrial project management and EPCM environment.
- Previous experience from the process industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in leading people in a matrix organization.
- Experienced in collaborating, influencing and engaging diverse, internal and external stakeholder groups.
- For ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, fluent communication skills in English and Finnish (verbal and written)
Other strengths we value
- Project Management studies and certifications such as PMP or IPMA.
- Understanding of contract administration, business principles and business law.
