Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Java.
- Develop robust and efficient solutions using Core Java and Java 8+ features.
- Work extensively with Collections, Streams, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and JVM fundamentals.
- Develop and optimize data-processing applications using Apache Spark / Spark Java.
- Design and develop REST APIs and web services.
- Work with SQL and relational databases, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Develop solutions for distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and appropriate design patterns to build maintainable and scalable applications.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues through effective debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Contribute to technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+, including : Collections, Streams, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and JVM fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark / Spark Java.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience developing REST APIs / Web Services.
- Strong understanding of : Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments.
