What You’ll Do
Client Consulting & Implementation
- Guide clients through solution design, configuration, testing, training, and adoption.
- Translate technical concepts and project updates into clear guidance for client stakeholders.
- Build strong client relationships through meetings, workshops, and ongoing support.
Financial Solutions & NX Upgrades
- Configure and validate financial and revenue-cycle workflows, including billing, claims, payments, and financial data.
- Support Netsmart NX upgrades that modernize legacy EHR platforms, including myAvatar, myEvolv, and myUnity, with web-based, customizable user experiences.
- Assess current-state workflows, translate requirements into solution designs, and guide clients through upgrade readiness and adoption.
- Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and data issues while clearly communicating risks and resolution status.
Testing, Training & Improvement
- Test system configurations and financial outputs to confirm accuracy and go-live readiness.
- Lead end-user training and promote successful solution adoption.
- Document outcomes, maintain implementation guidance, and recommend process improvements.
- Share knowledge and collaborate across teams to strengthen delivery and prevent escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Bring at least one year of experience in healthcare IT, systems implementation, technology consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Apply proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Work effectively in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.
- Adapt quickly and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies.
Technical Skills
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot systems.
- Use SQL for basic queries, data review, and troubleshooting.
- Apply a working understanding of databases and data structures.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of accounting principles or Revenue Cycle Management.
- Experience with Netsmart EHR solutions, NX environments, or Netsmart client industries.
- General understanding of AI and automation in solution delivery.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Work onsite in Overland Park, Kansas, with up to 20% travel.
- Support clients across multiple time zones, including occasional extended or non-traditional hours.
- Work comfortably in a collaborative, client-facing consulting environment.
