Accounts Payable Clerk

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, performing reconciliations, processing payments, and supporting various finance administration functions. If you are highly organised, deadline-driven, and enjoy working in a structured finance environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile monthly supplier statements and resolve outstanding queries.
• Prepare journals, accruals, and intercompany charge-outs.
• Reconcile and clear allocated general ledger control accounts.
• Assist with foreign currency orders, administration, and reconciliations.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding account queries.
• Provide information to payroll relating to staff deductions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
• Assist with office administration and support functions as required.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a related field advantageous.
• 3-5 years' experience within an Accounts Payable function.
• Knowledge of Oracle Finance or a similar ERP system.
• Strong understanding of VAT requirements relating to supplier payments.
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
