Minimum Requirements
- Red Seal Trade Test qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
- Computer literate
- Valid driver's license advantageous
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on company vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on diesel-powered equipment
- Conduct inspections and breakdown repairs
- Maintain and repair mobile cranes and other heavy equipment
- Complete maintenance records and job reports accurately
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist in minimizing equipment downtime through effective maintenance planning
