Tech stack of Network Finance
A global provider of automatic lubrication, fluid-management and fire-suppression solutions is seeking a commercially driven Technical Account Manager. You will manage distributors and direct customers, develop new business, grow existing accounts and provide technical and commercial support.

The role includes preparing regional sales plans, identifying market opportunities, delivering product training, supporting pump and lubrication-system selection, managing commercial negotiations and maintaining accurate sales forecasts. Candidates holding an engineering degree may be considered at Sales Engineer level.

The position is based in Pomona, Kempton Park, and requires extensive regional travel.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or NDip Mechanical Engineering, Business, Sales
  • A relevant technical trade qualification would be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

  • At least five years’ technical sales experience within lubrication, hydraulics, heavy equipment, transportation or related industrial markets
  • Experience selling equipment, accessories, systems or technical services
  • Proven new-business development and sales achievements
  • Experience managing distributors and direct customers
  • Strong technical presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills
  • Project or contract-management experience would be advantageous
  • CRM, Salesforce, SAP or BAAN experience would be beneficial
  • Willingness to travel between 50% and 75% of the time
  • Valid, unendorsed driver’s licence
  • South African citizenship
