Duties & Responsibilities Join a forward-thinking Internal Audit function where data, technology, and risk management come together to create real business value. As an AI Analytics Internal Auditor, you will play a key role in transforming audit processes through the application of Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, automation, and business intelligence solutions.
You will work closely with audit teams and business stakeholders to identify risks, uncover trends, and develop innovative analytics solutions that enhance oversight capabilities and improve decision-making. This role offers a unique blend of audit, data science, AI, and business intelligence, making it ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges through data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support AI models that enhance audit efficiency, risk analysis, and business oversight
• Execute data analytics projects and audit engagements across multiple business areas
• Identify risks, trends, inefficiencies, and control gaps through advanced analytical techniques
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate insights effectively
• Build and implement data models to support business and audit objectives
• Collaborate with audit teams to integrate analytics into audit planning and execution
• Support the planning and preparation of audit engagements, including scoping and timelines
• Provide technical expertise on data-related requirements and analytical methodologies
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data analytics and AI
• Research and implement innovative technologies and analytical approaches to improve audit outcomes
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Degree in Commerce, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Informatics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
• Experience:
• Minimum 6 years' working experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Minimum 1 year experience building or supporting AI solutions
• Experience within Internal Audit, Risk, Governance, or Assurance environments advantageous
• Reinsurance knowledge advantageous
• Underwriting knowledge highly advantageous
• Technical Skills:
• SQL
• Power BI
• DAX
• Excel
• ETL Development
• Data Warehousing
• Python and/or R
• Data Visualisation and Reporting
• AI Model Development and Analytics
• Dashboard Development
• Business Intelligence Tools
• Additional Requirements:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments
• Strong understanding of risk, controls, and governance principles
• Client-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
