SUMMARY:
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to lead EC&I design, automation, plant optimisation, and improvement projects within a technically advanced industrial environment.
This role suits a hands-on technical leader who challenges the status quo and delivers practical solutions that improve plant safety, reliability, efficiency, and performance.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of EC&I systems for plant and capital projects. Review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Manage electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control-system upgrades. Support commissioning, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and plant optimisation. Ensure compliance with engineering, safety, quality, and functional-safety standards. Collaborate with project, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. Mentor junior engineers and technical personnel. Minimum Requirements BTech\/BEng in a relevant engineering discipline. At least 15 years' EC&I experience in a process plant, manufacturing, chemical, mining, energy, or heavy industrial environment. Extensive EC&I design, specification, installation, and commissioning experience. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, DCS, electrical distribution, and industrial automation. Experience with capital projects, plant expansions, and control-system upgrades. Exposure to Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Emerson, or similar platforms. Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
