Your Role

As an Account Executive focused on Technology, you will drive new business across software, cloud infrastructure, semiconductor, and platform companies operating in one of the most demanding buying markets in the world. Pressure to adopt AI responsibly, cost discipline after a decade of expansion, and the consolidation of sprawling internal tooling are creating real demand for workflow transformation. Your territory will be anchored in the San Francisco Bay Area on a designated set of named technology accounts - complex operating environments where NewRocket's workflow and AI services have a clear and defensible value story.

This is a hunting seat. You will own a named list of accounts, build pipeline sourced via multiple channels including direct prospecting, partner-driven, marketing-supported, and events. You will carry a new-business number. If you understand how technology companies actually run, have existing relationships in the sector, and can position workflow and AI-enabled services as a path to operational scale rather than a platform purchase, this role is for you.

Your Impact

• Build and execute territory plans across a designated set of named technology accounts, covering near-term pipeline opportunities and longer-horizon relationship development
• Prospect directly and relentlessly, self-sourcing pipeline through outbound calling, email, social selling, industry events, and your own network, as well as working the parnterships channel
• Develop relationships with key executive buyers - CIO, CTO, COO, CISO, CFO - particularly within companies consolidating platforms, absorbing acquisitions, or scaling AI into production
• Lead account strategy by mapping stakeholder relationships and coordinating a virtual team across Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Customer Success, and Alliance partners
• Position NewRocket's workflow and AI services against technology-sector operating challenges: engineering and IT service operations, security operations, developer and employee experience, customer support at scale, and data readiness for AI
• Sell the full services portfolio - advisory, implementation, expansion, and managed services, including agentic and AI-enabled workflow engagements - with ServiceNow and Anthropic as platforms you lead with, not the whole conversation
• Maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline and deliver accurate biweekly forecasts to sales leadership
• Monitor the competitive landscape, market conditions, and platform and AI developments relevant to the technology sector
• Act as a sector SME, staying current on NewRocket's offerings, ServiceNow capabilities, Anthropic capabilities, industry trends, and client priorities

Your Experience

• 8+ years selling ServiceNow-related service, automation, or AI services, or competing SaaS platforms, with direct experience in technology or adjacent sectors
• Working fluency across two or more core ServiceNow domains such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, etc.
• Existing relationships with technology buyers at software, cloud, semiconductor, or platform companies in the Bay Area
• Demonstrated ability to sell consulting and advisory services, not just software licenses
• Experience with AI and agentic workflow positioning, and the ability to connect platform capabilities to operational outcomes; this is a strong preference for the role
• Proven track record of building pipeline from scratch rather than inheriting it - direct prospecting is a must-have in this seat, and we will ask you to walk us through deals you personally sourced
• Comfortable managing multiple concurrent sales cycles from initial qualification through close
• San Francisco Bay Area based, with willingness to travel to client sites as the coverage model requires

Education and Certifications

• BA/BS in Business, Technology, or equivalent experience
• ServiceNow certifications preferred; AI, cloud, or industry-specific credentials a plus
