TheProjectandtheRoleDescription

AsaMasterDataManagement(MDM)BusinessAnalyst,youwillbefunctionallyresponsibleforthesuccessfulimplementationanddeliveryofMDMorProductInformationManagement(PIM)solutions.

Acting as the key interfacebetweenbusinessstakeholdersandtechnicalteams,youwillensurebusinessrequirementsareaccuratelycaptured,translatedintoscalabledatamodels,andalignedwithorganizationaldatagovernancestandards.

Yourroleiscentraltoenablinghigh-quality,consistent,andreliablemasterdatathatsupportscorebusinessfunctionsanddigitaltransformationinitiatives.

Tasks

  • ITakefunctionalownershipofMDM/PIMsolutionsthroughouttheimplementationlifecycle.

  • Gather,document,analyze,andprioritizebusinessrequirementsrelatedtomasterandproductdata.

  • Analyzeexistingbusinessprocessesanddatalandscapestoidentifygapsandimprovementopportunities.

  • Preparefunctionalspecifications,processmaps,dataflows,anduserstories.

  • Facilitateworkshopsandactasakeycommunicationlinkbetweenbusinessandtechnicalteams.

  • CollaboratewithDataArchitectsandMDM/PIMconsultantstodesigneffectivesolutions.

  • Supportdatamodeling,taxonomymanagement,attributeconfiguration,andproducthierarchies.

  • Contributetodataqualityinitiatives,governanceframeworks,validationrules,andtestingactivities.

  • Supportusertraining,onboarding,andchangemanagementactivities.

  • IdentifyopportunitiesforcontinuousimprovementandpromoteMDM/PIMbestpractices.

RequiredSkills

  • ExperiencewithSTIBOSTEP orCollibra

  • PreviousexperienceasaBusinessAnalystinMDM,PIM,DataGovernance,orDataManagementprojects.

  • Experiencegatheringanddocumentingbusinessrequirementsandtranslatingthemintofunctionalspecifications.

  • Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills.

  • Excellentstakeholdermanagementandcommunicationskills.

  • Understandingofdatagovernance,metadatamanagement,anddataqualityprinciples.

  • Experiencewithdatamodeling,producthierarchies,taxonomies,andmasterdataconcepts.

  • Abilitytoworkeffectivelyincross-functionalandinternationalenvironments.

  • Fluent English.
