For an innovative European technology company undergoing an exciting transformation, Nexin is exclusively recruiting a Senior Front-End Engineer to help shape the future of an AI-native SaaS platform.

Our client is an established software company with an international customer base, currently transforming its existing analytics solution into a next-generation, AI-native platform.

This is not a traditional frontend development role where you simply implement predefined designs or specifications. You will take ownership of the frontend experience, help define how users interact with AI-powered capabilities and contribute directly to important product and technology decisions.

Our client is particularly interested in candidates who have already contributed to the development of, or helped build, an AI-native platform.

You will join a small, highly technical, entrepreneurial team where autonomy, curiosity, product thinking and practical AI experience are valued.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the frontend architecture, development and overall user experience of a growing AI-native SaaS platform.

• Help design and develop intuitive interfaces combining conversational AI, interactive dashboards, AI agents and automated workflows.

• Build scalable, reusable frontend frameworks and components that ensure a consistent experience across the platform.

• Work closely with the CTO, Product team and backend/AI engineers to translate business needs into elegant technical solutions.

• Contribute to product discussions, challenge existing approaches and actively influence technical and UX decisions.

• Integrate complex data, APIs and AI-driven functionality into seamless, user-friendly experiences.

• Ensure frontend performance, maintainability, reliability and code quality.

• Actively integrate AI development tools and coding agents into your daily engineering workflow.

• Explore emerging technologies and continuously improve how the team designs and develops software.

Your Profile

Essential requirements

• At least 5 years of professional frontend development experience, ideally in SaaS or other complex web applications.

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. Angular and TypeScript experience are highly relevant, but experience with React, Vue or comparable frameworks is also valued.

• Demonstrable experience contributing to or building an AI-native platform, rather than simply integrating isolated AI features into an existing application.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini or similar. AI should already be a regular part of how you develop software.

• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component design, API integration and modern development practices.

• Experience building sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces, ideally involving dashboards, analytics or data visualisation.

• A product-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand business objectives and translate complex functionality into simple user experiences.

• Comfortable working independently, taking ownership and making decisions without detailed instructions.

• Curious, adaptable and enthusiastic about AI and emerging technologies.

• Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken.

• You must currently be based in the European Union and hold valid authorisation to work in your country of residence.

Nice to have

• Experience developing conversational interfaces, generative UI or agent-based workflows.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.

• Experience with design systems, UX/UI principles and accessibility.

• Previous experience as a technical lead or primary frontend owner.

• Experience working in startups, scale-ups or fast-moving product organisations.
