Accounts Assistant

Job Description: NEXOR TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a reliable Accounts Assistant to support its finance operations in Karachi. Living near Saddar, Karachi, will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Record invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including tracking due dates and following up on outstanding items.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and prepare supporting schedules.
• Organize vouchers, invoices, receipts, and other documentation for accurate recordkeeping and audit readiness.
• Support month-end closing by compiling financial data and preparing routine reports.
• Coordinate with colleagues to verify transaction details and resolve documentation gaps.

The position is based in Karachi and works with the finance team to maintain dependable accounting records and meet routine reporting deadlines.Job Specification:

• Practical understanding of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting, and basic financial statements.
• Accuracy in entering and reviewing invoices, receipts, payments, and ledger transactions.
• Ability to assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and follow-up tracking.
• Confident use of spreadsheets, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic reconciliation schedules.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems and willingness to learn organizational tools.
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy, organization, and time management.
• Clear written and verbal communication, discretion with financial information, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to maintain orderly records, follow procedures, identify discrepancies, and meet recurring deadlines.
