As the dedicated Account Manager for TATA Electronics, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of Nexperia's Front-End (FE) and Back-End (BE) outsourcing partnership. This role serves as the primary interface between Nexperia and TATA, ensuring strong supplier governance, operational excellence, quality compliance, risk management, and successful execution of manufacturing and business objectives.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Groups, and external partners to drive performance, secure supply continuity, protect intellectual property, and support new product introductions.
What You Will Do
Strategic Supplier Management
Act as the primary relationship manager between Nexperia and TATA Electronics.
Build strong partnerships with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Manage supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, including delivery, yield, quality, and cost metrics.
Lead long-term capacity planning discussions and contract negotiations.
Drive supplier governance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Develop risk mitigation and business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Technical & Manufacturing Management
Oversee the end-to-end semiconductor manufacturing process, from wafer fabrication to final testing.
Coordinate technical alignment across FE and BE manufacturing processes.
Support new product introduction (NPI), qualification activities, and production ramp-up.
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for yield, quality, and manufacturing issues.
Partner with engineering teams to improve manufacturing performance and operational efficiency.
Drive cost optimization initiatives across manufacturing and testing operations.
Quality, Compliance & Audits
Ensure supplier compliance with Nexperia quality standards and automotive requirements.
Lead supplier audits and monitor corrective action implementation.
Manage quality incidents, customer returns, and failure analysis activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall supplier performance.
Support compliance with industry standards including IATF 16949, AEC-Q101, and VDA 6.3.
IP Protection & Risk Management
Own intellectual property protection and security governance at supplier sites.
Ensure compliance with global regulations governing technology transfer and data protection.
Identify and manage supply chain risks, operational disruptions, and escalation scenarios.
Coordinate cross-functional crisis management activities when required.
Establish a unified governance model across all business groups engaging with TATA.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Semiconductor Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience within the semiconductor industry, preferably in Front-End (FE), Back-End (BE), Foundry, OSAT, Outsourcing, Supplier Management, Technical Account Management, Manufacturing Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication, assembly, packaging, qualification, reliability testing, and final testing.
Experience managing external manufacturing partners, foundries, subcontractors, or strategic suppliers within a global environment.
Proven track record in supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, capacity planning, risk management, and operational governance.
Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Business Groups.
Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI), product qualification activities, yield improvement, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and manufacturing cost optimization.
Good understanding of automotive quality requirements and industry standards such as IATF 16949, AEC-Q101, and VDA 6.3.
Knowledge of supplier audits, quality management systems, compliance requirements, and intellectual property protection practices.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and external partners.
Experience working in a multicultural and global environment, managing complex business relationships across different regions.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive strategic initiatives, manage risks proactively, and deliver results in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
