Director, Product Leadership

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Product Director to lead the design and build of our new location based analytical products. As the Product Director for NIQ Store Intelligence Products, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering data-driven always-on solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, leadership skills, NIQ knowledge and a deep understanding of Gen AI, technology frameworks and product development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Vision:

• Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for location-based products, aligning with overall company goals and market trends.

• Ensure product portfolio is relevant and delivers value to all key client segments including Manufacturers, Retailers, Distributors, Agentic Commerce and Digital Platform Providers.

• Define and communicate product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

• Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Indirectly lead a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to direct PL team members, promoting professional growth and skill development.

• Market Analysis and Customer Engagement:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the analytics space.

• Engage with customers to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into product development.

• Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.

• AI and Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Drive the use of AI, data and analytics in decision-making and product development processes, leveraging insights to iterate on products and enhance user experiences.

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Communication:

• Effectively communicate product strategies, plans, and results to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support successful product launches.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with a focus on innovative and unique products and solutions.

• Subject Matter Expertise: 10+ years of experience working with location reference data, understanding the sourcing and management of meta data and the client use cases of harmonization and enterprise ingestion of that content.

• Leadership: Proven experience leading and inspiring cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of Gen AI, NIQ factories and processes, analytical technologies, data science, and software development processes.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable product plans.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Customer Focus: Demonstrated commitment to understanding stated and unstated customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
