Windows Workstation & Intune Support Engineer
Associate Engineer, Information Systems, Chennai
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Fresher to join our IT Support team. The candidate will assist in supporting Windows workstations, Microsoft Intune device management, user account administration, and basic troubleshooting activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with endpoint management and enterprise IT environments.
Responsibilities
Windows Workstation Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Perform hardware and software installations on desktops and laptops.
- Diagnose and resolve basic workstation issues related to performance, connectivity, and applications.
- Support printers, peripherals, and network connectivity.
- Assist users with password resets and account-related issues.
Microsoft Intune Administration
- Enroll and manage Windows devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor device compliance and security policies.
- Assist in deploying applications through Intune.
- Support device configuration profiles and endpoint security policies.
- Troubleshoot device enrollment and synchronization issues.
- Maintain asset inventory and device records.
IT Operations
- Respond to user tickets and service requests.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
- Follow IT security and compliance standards.
- Participate in system updates and patch management activities.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration.
- Understanding of computer hardware and networking fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience.
- Internship experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Endpoint Management is a plus.
