Medior Data Engineer

Task

Design and implement pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform data into Data Lakes and Data WarehousesActive monitoring and optimization of pipelines for performance and costConfiguration of pipeline deployments and management of environment settings using IaC tools and CI/CDImplementation of data quality checks and ensuring data integrityCommunication with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide technical guidance and code reviews to Junior engineers

Expectation

Proficiency in Python or Scala (Proficient/OOP)Advanced and analytical SQL skillsExperience with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, RedshiftExperience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Airflow, DagsterExperience with dbt (Core/Cloud), Spark/PySpark with optimization focusExperience with Terraform implementation, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)At least 2 years of hands-on data engineering experience (ETL/ELT)Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake Schema) and Data Lake principles (Medallion Architecture)Proven experience with Databricks (managing clusters, notebooks) and Azure Data Factory (pipelines, data flows)Proficiency in Python (OOP, functional programming) and strong SQL skills for complex transformationsPractical experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and its data servicesBase understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) with ability to deploy and modify infrastructure resources independentlyAbility to communicate technical decisions directly to clients and the team
