Project Engineer - Junior to Intermediate

Location: Offices in Meyersdal, Alberton

Our client is the supplier of new grinding mills, mill spares, refurbished plant equipment and turnkey project management. They are a fun and dynamic team. They are performance driven and have an open door policy. They have a low turn over and their staff is taken care of. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing team. 

Required to manage his/her own projects in accordance with company’s specifications and requirements.
Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines of ongoing projects assigned and to establish inspection criteria for the proper implementation of all the elements of a project.
Management of project cost, timing, scope, freight and site works.
Understand the mechanical components of grinding mills and other equipment and how these machines operate.

Travelling requirements:

• Periodic travel overseas

Qualifications:

• Chemical / Mechanical engineering or Metallurgy degree.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry with multi-disciplinary engineering experience.
