NORY is a New York City education company that runs STEM and maker enrichment programmes for children aged 3 to 12, including afterschool classes, school-break day camps, summer camps and birthday parties across Manhattan and Brooklyn. Its headquarters sit near Penn Station in Manhattan, it operates its own education supply chain and fabrication studio for class materials, and it is preparing expansion into Dallas and the San Francisco Bay Area. It hires assistant teachers and camp counselors, curriculum developers, camp site coordinators, warehouse and operations staff, marketing and social media specialists and a chief of staff.

About NORY

At NORY, we design learning journeys where every child in NYC and Boston becomes a risk-taking entrepreneur, inquisitive problem solver, and empathetic leader. As the largest STEM camp provider in NYC and now expanding in Boston, we are the Disney World of STEM education...where every learning experience is magical, impactful, and unforgettable.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and entrepreneurial Program Development & Operations Intern to support our growing Boston after-school, School Break Day Camp, and summer camp programs.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup. You'll work directly with NORY Boston's Regional Director and collaborate with our broader leadership team to support daily operations, develop engaging educational experiences, communicate with families, and help grow our presence throughout Greater Boston.

Unlike a traditional internship, this role offers meaningful ownership of projects, exposure to multiple areas of the business, and opportunities to make a real impact.

No two days will look exactly the same! One day you might be building a new STEM project, the next you could be analyzing enrollment trends, coordinating camp materials, or helping launch a new program.

Why This Role Rocks

  • Make an Impact: Your ideas will be heard, valued, and often implemented right away.

  • Work Directly with Leadership: Gain mentorship and collaborate closely with NORY's Boston Regional Director and HQ team.

  • Accelerated Learning: Experience different sides of a growing education company, from marketing and operations to curriculum development and customer experience.

  • Career Development: Build practical skills in project management, logistics, educational programming, and business operations.

  • Creative Freedom: Help develop exciting STEM projects and contribute ideas that enhance the experience of our campers.

  • Mission-Driven Work: Be part of a team creating unforgettable learning experiences that inspire the next generation of innovators.

  • Supply chain, purchasing, and inventory management

  • Marketing, community outreach, and enrollment growth strategies

  • Customer service and family relationship management
