We are currently seeking a Technology Consultant - Salesforce Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and end-to-end business process validation across Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating Salesforce business processes, preparing comprehensive test scenarios, executing test cases, and ensuring high-quality application releases.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of Salesforce platform functionality, test planning, defect management, data validation, and Agile testing practices. The role will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, Salesforce Administrators, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of quality Salesforce solutions.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs to identify test scenarios and test coverage.
• Prepare and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Perform functional testing of Salesforce applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce solutions.
• Validate Salesforce functionality including standard and custom objects, fields, relationships, Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Flows, validation rules, approval processes, record types, profiles, permission sets, and sharing models.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, and end-to-end testing activities.
• Validate business processes spanning Salesforce and integrated external applications.
• Perform API and integration testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent tools when required.
• Validate data migration, data transformation, data integrity, and system reconciliation activities.
• Execute positive, negative, boundary, and exception test scenarios.
• Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Perform defect verification, retesting, and regression testing following defect resolution.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and collaborate with development and business teams for issue resolution.
• Support SIT, UAT, release validation, production smoke testing, and post-deployment verification.
• Maintain requirement-to-test-case traceability and testing documentation.
• Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.
• Provide regular updates on test execution status, defect metrics, risks, and quality indicators to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform concepts including standard and custom objects, Lightning Experience, Flows, validation rules, profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing models.
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience creating detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test execution documentation from business requirements and user stories.
• Experience with defect lifecycle management and defect tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration testing concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with Salesforce integrations and middleware testing.
• Experience in data migration, conversion, and reconciliation testing.

• Salesforce Administrator or related Salesforce certification.
• Familiarity with SOQL and Salesforce reporting capabilities.
• Exposure to API-based integrations and third-party systems.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience Profile

• 2-4+ years of QA and Manual Testing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of Salesforce testing experience.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce business processes and platform functionality.
• Experience preparing and executing detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with data validation, integration testing, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Salesforce reports, SOQL, and data migration testing.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
