People Team at Nutanix

The Performance and People Development team at Nutanix is a collaborative group spanning the AMER, EMEA, APJ, and India regions. We recently launched enterprise programs dedicated to developing managers and emerging leaders across the company. What sets this team apart is our commitment to fostering growth through innovative learning strategies and cross-cultural perspectives, delivering lasting development and measurable impact across our global workforce.

Your Role

• Architect Learner Journeys:Architect human-centered, experiential learning journeys that build critical skills and drive measurable performance outcomes.

• Operationalize Design Frameworks:Partner with Talent Consultants to translate high-level design (HLD) and detailed-level design (DLD) specifications into immersive, hands-on experiential learning solutions.

• Conduct User Research:Facilitatelearner research-including discovery interviews, surveys, and focus groups-to uncover friction points, learner motivations, and environmental constraints.

• Rapid Prototyping:Develop low-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and storyboards to gather early user feedback and validateconcepts prior to full-scale development.

• Multimodal Solution Design:Design impactful solutions across diverse delivery formats, including instructor-led workshops, experiential and peer-learning labs, interactive video, digital performance support, assessments, and eLearningsfor global audiences.

• Stakeholder Alignment:Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic business requirements into cohesive, intuitive learning solutions across multiple platforms.

• Portfolio & Project Management:Manage end-to-end design and delivery across multiple project portfolios using agile design sprints and clear milestones.

• UX & Brand Governance:Champion user experience (UX), accessibility, and visual hierarchy across all deliverable's, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with Nutanix brand standards.

• Measure Efficacy:Drive measurable behavior change by validatinglearning efficacy through both qualitative usability feedback and quantitative business performance metrics.

• Emerging Tech Integration:Explore and integrate modern technologies-including generative AI tools, workflow automation, and interactive platforms-to enhance engagement and accelerate design workflows.

• Vendor Collaboration:Partner with third-party vendors and external specialists when needed to scale production or build specialized learning assets.

• Platform Architecture:Maintainand optimizecourse architectures, learning pathways, and developmental resources within the LMS and digital learning ecosystem.

What You Will Bring

• Foundational Expertise:Strong grounding in Learning Experience Design (LXD), Design Thinking, and adult learning theory, paired with practical application of instructional systems design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).

• Learner-Centric Toolkit:Proven track recordcreating actionable user personas, empathy maps, and end-to-end learner journey maps.

• Technical Fluency:Hands-on proficiencywith modern eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Synthesia), multimedia editing platforms, and collaborative whiteboarding software (e.g., Miro, Mural).

• Visual & UI Design:Ability to present complex ideas visually, design clean user interfaces, and translate technical or abstract subject matter into clear, accessible language.

• AI & Automation:Practical experience utilizinggenerative AI and automation tools to streamline instructional research, storyboarding, and content authoring.

• Execution & Collaboration:Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with demonstratedsuccess managing cross-functional initiatives and ambiguous requirements.

• Evaluation & Iteration:Experience conducting usability evaluations and analyzing learner feedback to drive continuous program optimization.

• Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Educational Technology, HR, Graphic Design, or equivalent practical work experience.
