AI-driven data analysis is essential in modern technical roles, to turn large amounts of raw data (from simulations or measurements) into actionable insights. In this internship, activities begin with collecting and preparing data to ensure quality and usability. Basic analytics and machine learning methods are then applied to identify patterns and trends.
The role involves close collaboration with designers and engineers to translate practical questions into data-driven analyses, with results communicated through clear visualizations and reports. Supporting simple automation, such as dashboards or data pipelines, is also part of the work.
Your Team
NVM Design and Technology is an organization that enables advanced Embedded Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) IPs used in all markets covered by NXP (Automotive, Industrial & IoT, Mobile and communication infrastructures). Our mission is to deliver best-in-class NVM IPs that enable NXP next generation products across the various technology nodes used in the company. Our expertise covers multiple NVM technologies such as One-Time Programmable (OTP), Multi-Time Programmable (MTP), Flash, RRAM, MRAM in different technology nodes from advanced BCD processes to advanced FinFET nodes. You will be part of a highly skilled extended and cross-functional team of R&D engineers composed of Analog and Digital integrated circuit designers, as well as validation, test and reliability engineers.
Your Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare structured data (from simulations or silicon measurements) to support AI-driven insights for design decisions
- Apply basic data analytics or machine learning methods to identify patterns and opportunities
- Work with design team to translate questions into data analyses and clear visualizations
- Support development of dashboards, reports, and simple data pipelines
- Assist in analyzing the experiments and providing improvements inputs

Your Profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and being in the final stage of studies, with the possibility to continue the work as part of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis
- Affinity with Verilog/VHDL language and digital simulation tools
- Affinity with Linux environment is a plus
- Ability to develop automation script and software is a plus
- Team player and eager to learn
- Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)
