A site filled with everything you could possibly think of, and also probably not think of, related to an oat drink company called Oatly.

Hello potential future Oatly employee!

It’s us, the original oat drink company that started in Sweden nearly 30 years ago and we need more brilliant minds to come work with us to keep the momentum going and the oat drink flowing.

Sustainability, health, and transparency are the core values that guide everything we do. Basically, we exist to make it easy for people to eat better and live healthier lives without recklessly taxing the planet’s resources in the process. To keep this movement going, we need more brilliant minds to come work with us to keep the momentum going and the Oatly flowing. This is a company that shows great respect and a fearless approach to make positive change. Does this feel exciting? Well, this is where you come in.

A little more about the role...

Oatly is ready to take over South Korea, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial person that is ready to make South Korea our next success story. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all sales in the region across retail, convenience, and food service. Your tasks include developing and maintaining customer relationships, creating sales plans for new and existing accounts, and managing category development with key customers. You will analyze sales performance, both for our brand and competitors, and be involved in product development and launches.

You will manage customer P&Ls, collaborate with the Marketing Department on local events to boost brand visibility, and seek opportunities for special events. Additionally, you will participate in sales and marketing conferences, act as a brand ambassador, and provide support to the Swedish organization when needed.

But, you know. These are just the things we can think of right now! This might be the job today, but tomorrow brings more change, so being light on your feet and willing to embrace the unknown is a verrrrrry big help.

In this role, you will report to the APAC Country Manager, and the location for this role is in South Korea.

This next section is for all the bullet point lovers out there:

We are looking for you to have...

  • Several years of experience in sales within the food industry and an adequate university degree or equivalent.

  • Extensive experience and a strong track record as a KAM manager.

  • Experience in distributor management.

  • Strong negotiation skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English.

  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities.

  • Proficiency in various computer programs, including Word and Excel.

Initially, you will work from your home office to organize the setup and expansion of the Korean location, building an effective sales force.

Other key competencies & experiences:

YOUR APPLICATION

Phew! Well done if you’ve got this far. We’re glad we’ve still got your attention because we’ve got one last super important point to make.

As you can probably tell, we’re a norm-breaking company. For us, diversity and differences are an obvious asset. We know that amazing candidates can sometimes be put off applying for a job unless they can tick every box, and that makes us really sad. So please trust your gut and pop in your application if it’s feeling right. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, let’s do this together! It will be fun!

Last day of application: 1st of October.

We treat all candidates equally: If you are interested, please apply through our application system - any correspondence should come from there. This will ensure that the candidate experience is smooth and fair to everyone!
