Payroll Administrator Duties & Responsibilities Qualification

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' payroll administration experience working on Sage VIP Payroll essential
• Experience processing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls
• Experience managing payroll with a combined employee compliment of about 1000 employees

Duties

• Process weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 1000 employees.
• Capture, verify and process payroll information accurately.
• Process new appointments, terminations, leave, overtime, deductions and allowances.
• Ensure statutory compliance with PAYE, UIF, SDL and other legislative requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports before final processing.
• Generate payslips and payroll reports.
• Liaise with clients regarding payroll queries.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
• Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.
