Odoo Developer

OERP Canada is seeking a software developer eager to work in an exciting, fast-paced ERP environment. The developer team is responsible for reviewing, writing, and testing code within implementations and customizations on customer systems, helping them streamline their business with Odoo. An excellent opportunity for an intermediate developer with Odoo experience to take the next step in their career, lead projects, and flex their creative muscle.

Responsibilities

Design and develop integrated Odoo applications. Develop client solutions as part of a cross-functional team. Integrate Odoo with external applications. Troubleshoot, debug, fix, and upgrade software. Meet with stakeholders to understand business requirements. Translate business processes into software solutions. Adhere to best programming practices including coding standards, code reviews, and test coverage. Provide ongoing support for delivered solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Skills

Odoo ORM, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, SASS/CSS, PostgreSQL, SQL, Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C++). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in automated testing including functional, integration, stress, and performance tests.

Experience

Intermediate software developer with 3+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in Odoo and/or OpenERP. Experience with ERP implementations, development, and customization. Proficiency with git, CI/CD workflows, and Linux. Cloud systems experience (AWS, EC2, ECS) is an asset.
