OJ Electronics – a Danish producer of HVAC drives, AHU controllers, and thermostats for electric floor heating – is hiring a QA and validation engineer to join our cross-departmental QA & Product Compliance team.
As a QA and validation engineer, you’ll ensure the integrity of our system testing, drive validation, test automation and processes, and ultimately ensure the quality and continuous improvement of our products.
Our QA & Product Compliance team works across the company with different product lines, department specialists, and our own test center – creating a rich and varied workday as you help us make sure our products meet our stringent quality demands.
Your role
Reporting to your line manager in QA & Product Compliance, you’ll be expected to:
- Plan and execute product tests
- Prepare test specifications
- Ensure system testing of products
- Drive acceptance testing and automated testing
- Support Production and the market
- Propose redesigns based on identified deviations
- Participate in reviews
- Collaborate across functions
Must-have qualifications
- A technical education, for example as a technician or software engineer
- Experience with software testing with hardware-in-the-loop, systematic test methods, system testing, and preparation of test specifications
- Professional experience in electronics, product testing, or other technically regulated product environments
- Systematic thinker, analytical mindset, collaborative approach, and strong communication skills
- Good English comprehension
Nice-to-have qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation knowledge or certification
- Experience with testing embedded products, apps, or cloud solutions
- Experience with automated testing, acceptance testing, product validation, deviation analysis, and technical review activities

Please note that this position is based in Sønderborg, Denmark, and requires your physical presence on site. The position involves 1–5 travel days per year, depending on business needs and mutual agreement.
