Head of Supply Chain - Telecom Company

A leading telecom company is seeking an experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring the efficient availability and delivery of products, equipment, and services while driving cost efficiency, operational excellence, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Ensure the timely availability and distribution of telecom equipment, devices, spare parts, and other critical materials.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiation, performance management, and contract management.
• Optimize inventory levels while ensuring product availability and minimizing working capital.
• Establish effective demand forecasting and supply planning processes.
• Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations and ensure high service levels.
• Identify opportunities to reduce supply chain costs and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant supply chain standards.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
• Lead and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Commercial, Technology, Operations, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in supply chain management, with significant experience in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, FMCG, electronics, or another large-scale industry is preferred.
• Strong experience across procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Proven track record in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and cost optimization.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing large teams and complex supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and supply chain management systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
