Our Newest Opportunity:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing and executing billing processes for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance agency accounts within a centralized billing structure. This role ensures accurate invoicing and resolution of billing discrepancies while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Billing Operations
- Generate and process invoices for agency-billed P&C policies in accordance with established timelines.
- Validate premium amounts, endorsements, and adjustments before issuing bills.
- Ensure billing accuracy by reviewing broker invoices and carrier binders/quotes, checking policy screen set up (commission, payable entity, producer commission) before transacting
- Agency Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency billing inquiries with local office service teams.
- Work with local service teams on premium finance questions and clarification as necessary.
- Assist agencies with understanding centralized billing processes and system navigation.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new billing tools.

Education, Training and Experience:
- Experience:
- 2+ years in insurance billing, accounting, or related financial operations; P&C insurance experience is strongly preferred.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $60,000 to $65,000per year.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
