Our Newest Opportunity:

Summary:

This roleis responsible formanaging and growing a book of retirement plan clients while developing the depth ofexpertiseand client ownership that defines a senior consulting career. This position involves designing and implementing retirement plan structures, building trusted plan sponsor relationships, and actively communicating the broader OneDigital value proposition to both prospective and existing clients. This role works with internal service teams to deliver an exceptional client experience and drive long-term retention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes but is not limited to):

Business Development & Client Growth

Business development may be a formal or informal expectation of this role depending on market and team structure.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of OneDigital's full suite of employer-facing solutionsin order toeffectively position the right resources for each client's needs.

  • Identifyand pursue opportunities to introduce other OneDigital verticals and service lines to both prospective and existing clients, deepening the breadth of value delivered and strengthening overall retention.

  • Where a formal new logo sales goal is assigned, develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through referrals, COI relationships, convergence leads, and other business development channels, guiding prospects through the full sales cycle and closing new business against defined targets.

  • Coordinate or support RFP fulfillment processes,leveragingmarket, regional, and national resources to present OneDigital's capabilities and value proposition effectively.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and prospect-facing engagements to build market presence and generate opportunities.

Client Relationship Management & Retention

This role is expected to develop andmaintaindirect ownership of client relationships, building toward a fully independent book of business.

  • Serve as the relationship owner for an assigned book of clients, building accountability for client satisfaction, retention, and overall relationship health.

  • Develop and execute relationship strategies tailored to each client's goals, plan design, and organizationalobjectives, with increasing independence over time.

  • Lead orparticipatein client meetings, strategic reviews, and plan sponsor communications, coordinating with Client Relationship Managers and other internal specialists to ensure seamless delivery.

  • Maintain continuity of client relationships through transitions in team structure, plan design, or business conditions.

Plan Consulting & Advisory Services

The degree to which this role personally delivers versus coordinates consulting services will vary based on team structure and market model.

  • Provide retirement plan consulting to clients - including plan design, benchmarking, investment menu analysis, and fiduciary guidance - performing this work directly and/or coordinating delivery through Investment Consultants and other internal specialists as the team model supports.

  • Leverage market, regional, and national resources to support participant education and engagement; coordinate with Employee Engagement Managers for group education delivery and connect participants to Financial Advisors for individual financial planning needs where applicable.

  • Advise clients on regulatory and legislative developments affecting their plans, drawing on internal compliance resources and plan administration specialists to support analysis and recommendations.

  • Facilitate fiduciary training for plan sponsors,leveragingnational resources and best-practiceframeworks whereavailable.

  • Where applicable, utilize OneDigital's internal retirement plan administration team to support testing, plan amendments, compliance strategies, and other plan administration needs.

Team Coordination & Specialist Leverage

Incumbents are expected to actively developproficiencyin OneDigital's team-based service model, learning toleveragespecialists to increase capacity and client impact.

  • Coordinate the activities of the client service team - including Client Relationship Managers, Investment Consultants, Employee Engagement Managers, and Financial Advisors - to deliver a cohesive, high-quality client experience.

  • Identifygaps in service delivery and proactively redirect internal resources - whether local, regional, or national - tomaintainclient satisfaction and operational continuity.

  • Buildproficiencyin OneDigital's team-based service model, actively developing the ability toleveragespecialists to increase capacity and client impact.

Compliance & Regulatory Expertise

  • Conduct or coordinate benchmarking due diligence to ensure clients' plansremaincompetitive and compliant with industry standards.

  • Stay informed of ERISA regulations, fiduciary best practices, and relevant legislative changes; apply that knowledge to client plan recommendations and communicate relevant updates proactively.

Qualifications,Skillsand Requirements:

  • Growingtrack recordof success in retirement plan consulting and/or sales.

  • Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and fiduciary best practices.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work and make decisions independently.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated disciplinemaintainingclient and pipeline information in a CRM; Salesforce preferred.

  • Proven success with multi-tasking and managing priorities effectively.

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.

  • Continual learner mentality, able to adoptnew solutionsand interpret the impact of new laws for clients.

  • Must be able tomaintainconfidentiality ofhighly sensitiveclient information, including personnel and financial data.

  • Regular and predictable attendance isrequired.

  • Business travel up to 25%.

  • Must be licensed to allow registration as an IAR of OneDigital Investment Advisors.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, ora relatedfield (preferred), or relevant experience in retirement plan services.

  • Mustpossessa valid relevant securities license.

  • 5+ years of retirement plan related experiencerequired.

  • 2-5 years of industry-related sales or consulting experience preferred.

Limited Pathway (Series 7/66):

  • Candidates holding a Series 7 plus Series 66 may be eligible for IAR registration; however, this pathway is only available in branches with an active broker-dealer designation andappropriate supervisionstructure. As OneDigital continues toconsolidatebroker-dealer operations, thisoptionis increasingly limited.

  • Candidates with a Series 7 and 66 in a non-broker-dealer branch may be eligible to enroll in MQP and EVEP, pausing their registration for up to five years without retaking exams.In order toremainregisteredlong term, the candidate willbe requiredto obtain a Series 65 or qualifying designation during that period. Hiring managers and recruiters should discuss these options early in the hiring process with ODIA Compliance.

  • If a license or designation is not currently held by a candidate, the offer letter must include:

  • An unlicensed title to be used until licensure.

  • A statement affirming the candidate's understanding that they must be licensed and registered within a certainperiod of timeand that they may not offer investment advice until registration is confirmed. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
