The Quality Engineer - TFP & Program Support role is responsible for supporting the Transparent Flow Process (TFP) and Change Management Programs/Projects by ensuring strong quality governance, system readiness, and execution discipline. The position focuses on preventing wrong material shipment, avoiding conflicts with future PCNs, and ensuring alignment across quality systems and change management processes through effective cross-functional collaboration.

Due to close collaboration with colleagues and teams in Asia, this role requires some flexibility in working hours, particularly during the onboarding and training period. An earlier start to the workday (from approximately 7:00 AM) may occasionally be required. This position is especially suitable for candidates who prefer an early work schedule.

  • Support Program Managers in the cross-functional review board responsible for reviewing and prioritizing company-wide Product Change Notifications (PCNs).
  • Serve as the Quality focal point for TFP setup and execution, ensuring disciplined and compliant implementation.
  • Provide quality control to ensure:
    • TFP readiness
    • System alignment (e.g., PCN, Agile, TFP cross reference)
    • Controlled cutover timing
    • Audit readiness
    • Effective issue resolution
  • Monitor and track basic quality metrics, including:
    • Approval adherence
    • Conversion accuracy
    • Incorrect Shipment prevention
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across Quality, Program Management, Business Units, Operations, and Sales/Order Management.
  • Provide global support across US, Europe, and Asia time zones as required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Process Governance roles.
  • Experience supporting program or process execution in a cross-functional environment is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Working knowledge of Change Management, PCN, and/or TFP (Transparent Flow Process) concepts.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work effectively with global teams and support multiple time zones.
