This is a full-time W-2 position with a salary of $125,000 to $135,000 per year. It is a hybrid work arrangement based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and the commuting cadence varies by assignment. The initial engagement is expected to be one to two days a week on site in DC. The initial engagement requires United States citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination.
Your first project
Your first assignment will likely include leading requirements and analysis for an Agile delivery team by:
- consulting with product owners, customers, key stakeholders, and end users to elicit and specify requirements;
- developing requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria, and facilitating product backlog refinement and prioritization;
- assisting product owners in defining the product scope, vision, and roadmap;
- conducting business process analysis, workflow analysis, and business process reengineering; or
- providing system analysis and subject-matter expertise on issues and bugs.
Adaptability and a demonstrated capacity to learn new concepts, systems, and tools are what keep you ahead of program needs as projects complete and priorities shift.

What you'll build
- Requirements the build team can act on: user stories and acceptance criteria that carry business intent through to working software.
- The analysis behind the hard calls: gap analyses, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) studies, business process models, wireframes, and storyboards that give decision-makers real options.
- Application designs proven against business requirements, worked side by side with product owners, program managers, developers, testers, and end users.
- Product demonstrations that land: you lead them, and you support the team when it gives them.
- In time, the firm itself: new capabilities, tools, and lines of business you help spin up.
Who you are
You translate between the people who run the business and the people who build the systems, and both sides trust the translation. You are as comfortable steering scope with a product owner as pressure-testing a design with developers, and you weigh every solution against time, budget, and cost constraints. You communicate clearly, adapt across roles and clients, and care about creating public value. You experiment, fail, learn, and repeat quickly. You would rather own an outcome than be handed a task.
What you bring
- Hands-on requirements elicitation, specification, and documentation that developers can build from without guessing.
- Fluency in Agile delivery: user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and prioritization as daily practice.
- The analytical range to move from business process reengineering to system-level analysis of issues and bugs.
- The precision to work where accuracy and auditability are not optional.
What you'll need
U.S. citizenship (this initial engagement may be staffed by U.S. citizens only) and the ability to obtain a Public Trust determination. This is a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and it requires commuting into DC regularly. Everything else, the years, the certifications, the specific tools, we ask in the application and get into during the interview.

Requirements
- 6+ years of business analysis experience on information technology (IT) programs
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation skills
- Experience with Agile delivery and backlog management
- Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Basic proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred
- Federal information technology experience
- Financial-regulatory domain experience
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile Analysis certification
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tooling
