Oracle is an American enterprise technology company founded in 1977 by Larry Ellison, Bob Miner and Ed Oates, and headquartered in Austin, Texas. It built its business on the Oracle Database, still the reference relational engine for large transactional systems, and has expanded into a full applications suite covering finance, human resources, supply chain and customer experience through Fusion Cloud and NetSuite. Its fastest growing segment is Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which the company has positioned aggressively for AI training and inference workloads through large multi-year capacity contracts.

Oracle Global Physical Security (GPS) is seeking an experienced individual contributor to serve as Principal Program Manager, Central Operations, supporting our hyperscale data center portfolio.

This role will drive the execution and scaling of Central Operations programs as the footprint and operating complexity grow. The program manager will turn leadership priorities into repeatable mechanisms across campuses, including program plans, standards, performance measures, business reviews, risk and action tracking, and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on builder role with substantial cross-functional scope. Security service and vendor performance will be an important workstream, alongside operational readiness, data and automation, portfolio reporting, and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will develop practical solutions where mature mechanisms do not yet exist, work through ambiguity, and help campus teams adopt improvements that remain effective as the portfolio grows.

The program manager will report to the Director, Global Physical Security Central Operations. This is a Nashville, Tennessee-based individual contributor position supporting data center campuses across the portfolio.

  • Translate Central Operations priorities into portfolio program plans for hyperscale expansion, with clear milestones, dependencies, decision logs, and measurable outcomes across campuses.
  • Develop and implement scalable operating standards, playbooks, training frameworks, and rollout methods for assigned Central Operations initiatives, incorporating campus feedback and verifying adoption.
  • Define and maintain operational KPIs, data definitions, dashboards, and reporting quality across readiness, service performance, systems sustainment, incidents, and corrective-action closure.
  • Develop and run weekly business reviews (WBRs), quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and annual operating review updates that show performance trends, material risks, decisions needed, owners, and progress against priorities.
  • Identify and lead cost optimization and efficiency initiatives across security services, operating processes, staffing assumptions, tools, and workflows; assess savings and service impact with Finance and partner teams.
  • Lead cross-campus implementation of assigned programs from initial design through pilot, change management, adoption, and outcome measurement, resolving risks and dependencies along the way.
  • Partner with campus Security Operations, Construction, Security Systems and Technology, Data Center Operations, and Facilities to strengthen operational readiness, turnover, site hardening, and sustained support.
  • Build and run the GPS operational performance program for third-party security services, including service requirements, scorecards, operating reviews, escalation thresholds, and corrective actions with evidence of sustained closure.
  • Lead GPS operational input to guard-service RFPs, statements of work, and supplier evaluations; partner with Vendor Management, which leads sourcing, commercial governance, and contracting.
  • Support capacity planning for new buildings, operational growth, and construction-to-operations transitions by converting site requirements and demonstrated workload into program and service needs.
  • Use incidents, investigations, assessments, operating data, and lessons learned to identify systemic gaps and drive improvements that reduce repeat failures across campuses.
  • Prepare concise executive updates and recommendations on performance, cost, capacity, risks, and unresolved decisions; maintain clear accountability for actions through closure.

Qualifications

  • Progressively responsible experience in physical security operations, infrastructure program management, critical infrastructure security, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling multi-site operating programs, standards, or performance mechanisms in a complex organization.
  • Strong program management experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing risks and dependencies, and delivering measurable outcomes without direct authority over all participants.
  • Experience developing operational standards, readiness practices, service requirements, and change-adoption mechanisms for campus or infrastructure operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to define useful KPIs, validate data quality, build dashboards, and turn weekly, quarterly, or annual business reviews into decisions and action.
  • Experience identifying cost optimization opportunities, evaluating service and control tradeoffs, and tracking improvement results with Finance or commercial partners.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise physical-security operations and technologies, including access control, video management, security operations centers, and related systems.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and drive consistent execution across multiple campuses and partner teams.
  • Experience partnering with campus Operations, Construction, Security Systems and Technology, Vendor Management, Procurement, Finance, and service providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present program status, operating performance, risks, and recommendations to executive audiences.
  • Ability to travel to data center campuses as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data centers, critical infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or similarly complex operating environments.
  • Experience supporting security service RFPs, vendor performance programs, contract or statement-of-work requirements, or supplier evaluations.
  • Experience developing data products, operational dashboards, automated workflows, or portfolio business-review mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting construction-to-operations readiness, operational acceptance, site-hardening programs, or systems sustainment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • CPP, PSP, PMP, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
