SAP BW/4HANA Developer

We are looking for a strong SAP BW/4HANA Developer to design, build, and support business intelligence and data warehousing solutions across our client's enterprise. In this role, you will lead the extraction, transformation, and reporting of data from SAP S/4HANA into SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.
You will bridge the gap between complex technical back-end architecture and senior business leadership to deliver scalable analytics solutions and support an ongoing SAP S/4HANA journey.
Duties & Responsibilities-
BW/4HANA & Data Warehousing: Design, build, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA data models (DSOs, InfoProviders, InfoCubes) using LSA/LSA++ methodologies while ensuring high performance, data integrity, and system optimization.

ETL & Integration: Develop scalable ETL processes connecting SAP S/4HANA ERP to BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud, ensuring seamless cloud and on-premise integration.

Analytics & Business Intelligence: Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions, build SAC reporting models, and deliver data-driven insights to executive stakeholders.

Operational & Systems Support: Build and manage Process Chains, monitor daily data loads, resolve ITSM tickets within SLAs, and reconcile BW/4HANA data against source systems.

Governance & Security: Partner with SAP Basis and GRC teams to maintain user access, data protection, privacy standards, and system security best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Explore emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, RPA) to enhance reporting capabilities and drive digital transformation.

Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP BW/4HANA development experience.

Source Systems: Proven track record working with SAP S/4HANA as a key source system.

Environment: Direct experience delivering enterprise BI/analytics platforms and integrating cloud/on-premise architectures within Agile and SDLC frameworks.

Development & Querying: ABAP Programming, SQL Development, and HANA Modelling.

Data Architecture: LSA/LSA++ methodologies, ETL pipeline design, Process Chain Management, and data reconciliation.
Advantageous Skills: SAP Certifications, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, DAX, or SAP Databricks.
