Outtake exists to empower and facilitate trust for a digital-first world. Today, impersonation, fraud, AI-driven scams, and identity abuse spread faster than any security team can respond to. So we built something different: an agentic AI platform that proactively detects, monitors, and takes down impersonators, automating protection in hours, not weeks.
Built by ex-Palantir, ex-CTO/founders, and ex-Notion engineers, Outtake is designed for clarity, autonomy, and velocity. Our goal is ambitious: become the trust layer of the modern internet. And we intend to do it with a lean, dense, exceptionally talented team.

The Role
Shape what we build. Outtake is a decentralised, high-ownership org (see our CEO on one of our values, “Power to the Edges ”). We don’t have a traditional PM role: you’ll work with product engineers and product deployment leads to identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and decide what’s worth building.
Solve novel UX challenges. Design how users manage fleets of autonomous agents, decide when to intervene, and investigate threats across layers of connected data. Own the experience from workflows and information architecture to the interactions and visual details that make it clear and usable.
Make your team faster. Turn open questions into well-backed user insights and concrete design options and prototypes that align your team. Find simpler ways to solve problems, make deliberate tradeoffs, and work closely with engineers to ship and improve the product.
Build direct relationships with customers. Drive design partnerships and establish regular channels for feedback. Run research, test ideas, and gather the qualitative and quantitative evidence you need to make decisions and assess what you ship.
Make good design cheap. Evolve our design system and bring AI into the way we explore, prototype, and build. Create tools and practices that help designers, engineers, and product managers move faster and consistently ship well-designed products.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of product design experience, ideally at early-stage or high-growth companies where you've had to own outcomes end-to-end.
Comfort designing technically complex products. You can get deep into a domain, solve unfamiliar UX problems, and make layered information clear and useful.
Deeply product-minded and user-driven, not user-led. You care about users, think holistically about problems, and are excited to drive product strategy with Product Deployment and Product Engineering.
Be resourceful, fast. Our team is all about velocity. You exercise great judgment on when to make a decision carefully and when to ship and iterate.
Low-ego. You give and receive feedback openly and don't get precious about your work.
Collaborative but autonomous. You work well with others, but can also navigate ambiguity and own your work fully without hand-holding.
Excellent craft. You have the interaction, visual, and motion design chops.
Bonus Points
Experience designing for AI, automation, or agent-based systems.
You've been an early design hire and helped shape design culture from the ground up.
You actively use AI tools in your design workflow and are always experimenting with new ways to leverage them.
Background in cybersecurity, trust & safety, or risk-related products.
