Our client is a fast-moving US-market startup with a live iOS gaming product and a growing user base. The engineering team is lean, moves fast, and takes pride in the quality of what they ship. Product, design, and engineering work closely together – no hand-offs, no silos.
They're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer who's built consumer apps that real people use. Someone who knows what makes an app feel right, catches performance issues before users do, and can drive technical decisions without waiting to be told what to do.
What you'll work on:
Implement new product features end-to-end in Swift
Work closely with game designers and backend engineers on gameplay flows
Take ownership of performance, memory, and responsiveness on your features
Review code and actively push iOS quality standards across the codebase
Use AI coding tools in your daily workflow to move faster and write less boilerplate
Weigh in on architecture and tooling decisions
What we're looking for:
3+ years of iOS development on consumer apps shipped to the App Store
Gaming industry experience is a must – or at minimum, a high-engagement B2C entertainment app (social, streaming, lifestyle)
Solid Swift fundamentals; strong grasp of UIKit and/or SwiftUI
Hands-on experience with performance profiling and optimization
Used to working async with distributed teams
AI tools are part of your daily routine, not an afterthought
