The leading Greek Biscuits & Bakery company, E.J. PAPADOPOULOS S.A., is seeking to employ a driven & committed:

Demand Planner

to join our Demand Planning team.

The role:

The Demand Planner will develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, combining sales data with commercial insights to support product availability and effective inventory management. Working closely with Sales, Marketing and the four Plant, the role will contribute to the company’s OP process and the continuous improvement of demand planning.

How you will contribute:

• Develop and update demand forecasts by SKU, product category, customer and planning horizon, incorporating historical sales, seasonality and market trends.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotional activities, new product launches, commercial agreements and portfolio changes into the demand plan.
• Support the S&OP process by preparing demand reviews and coordinating inputs to establish a consensus demand plan.
• Monitor actual sales against forecasts, investigate deviations and recommend improvements to forecasting assumptions and methods.
• Track forecast accuracy and bias, identifying opportunities to improve planning reliability.
• Communicate demand changes, risks and opportunities to Supply Planning, supporting actions to reduce stock-outs, excess inventory and obsolescence.
• Prepare demand reports and dashboards, maintain data quality and contribute to improvements in planning tools and processes.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply chain analysis, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and demand planning systems.
• Understanding of forecasting methods and the S&OP process.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align inputs from different teams.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent command of Greek and English.
