Services Engineer

Location: Boston, MA, or Encinitas, CA / Hybrid 

Reports To: Services Engineering Manager 

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Customer Success is at the center of everything we do, and as a Services Engineer focused on integrations, you are the technical bridge connecting our customers to the platform. You will build and support integrations that connect Paperless Parts with our customers’ critical business systems, including CRM, ERP, and MES platforms. Your work directly empowers manufacturers by automating manual processes, improving data flow, and unlocking meaningful business insights.

In this role, you will become a subject matter expert on the Paperless Parts platform. You will partner directly with customers to design, develop, and deploy tailored integration solutions that are central to their success. Beyond individual customer deployments, you will actively contribute to our library of reusable capabilities, helping to scale our delivery organization and shape the future of our integration methodologies.

What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months)

Integration Delivery: Successfully lead the end-to-end technical deployment of multiple complex customer integrations within established project timelines.Technical Discovery: Autonomously lead discovery sessions to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.Framework Expansion: Develop and contribute new reusable integration components, templates, or tooling to improve team delivery efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

Core Requirements

• Python Expertise: Strong hands-on coding proficiency in Python to build custom software solutions and manage data flows.
• API & System Integrations: Demonstrated expertise utilizing REST APIs, web services, SQL, and modern integration architectures.
• Customer-Facing Execution: Proven ability to lead technical discovery, translate business requirements into technical roadmaps, and confidently communicate with executive stakeholders.
• Project Resiliency: Demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent technical delivery projects in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
• Location: Based in or able to easily commute to the Boston, MA office, or Encinitas, CA office, with a willingness to travel to customer sites up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing Systems Background: Prior experience integrating SaaS applications with ERP, CRM, or specialized manufacturing systems.
• CI/CD Pipeline Experience: Familiarity with modern deployment tools and environments, including Docker and Jenkins.
• Cloud Hosting Experience: Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, ECR, S3, and IAM.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
